Results:  40 Metres Counties Contest, 17th October 2021 @ 12:00z (1 hour)

40m propagation favoured local contacts during this contest, allowing EI & GI stations to work many of the 17 counties active during the contest.  Excluding uniques, 31 EI/GI and 18 overseas stations were in the logs.

Local propagation was considerably better than this time last year, clearly illustrated by the numbers for inter-EI/GI QSOs: in October 2020 inter-EI/GI QSOs accounted for less than 14% of all QSOs, in October 2021 they accounted for 63% of the total.
